Pricing & Details

How much?

My current fee is $1245.  Included in this price a $200 session fee for my photography services.  The $200 sitting fee is required at the time of booking in order to secure your date & time. The session fee is for my time and creative talent, and this is non-refundable. I accept cheques, bank transfers and cash. Alternatively, for your convenience, you can pay with credit or debit via paypal invoicing.

What it Includes?

Portraits (family, maternity & newborn, etc.)

Your session will include at least a one hour shoot on location or in and around your home, within Edmonton area. Please let me know if you are outside of Edmonton, and I can quote my travel fees. I only accept a limited number of clients a month. Plan to book ahead to avoid disappointment. Newborn sessions should be booked well in advance, as it is best to capture their essence in the first two weeks of birth.

My intention for your shoot is to tell a story about you and your loved ones. Or, about the passion you have for your business. I find it difficult to narrow down the digital images from every session I do and I can only imagine how difficult it can be if you’re limited to only 3 images out of 30 fantastic shots. I feel they all belong with you, because it’s a moment in your life and you have trusted me with recording it. I have learned from experience that often digital images get stuck sitting on a computer hard drive. Even with the best of intentions the digital images are never tranformed into a picture on the wall or in an album lovingly flipped through by family and friends. For this reason, I am offering prints and an album along with the digital images.

For Personal Headshots

$525, including a $200 session fee. I will provide a 45 min to 1-hour shoot and an online viewing of images. You will be able to choose 5 digital images specially prepared for print use and web viewing for work or for social media.

Commercial (architecture, business development, interiors etc)

Please contact me for details of the engagement and I will provide you with a quote.

What to Expect or Know for the Shoot?

Planned impromptu! Which translates into a mix of candid and posed shots. Sometimes I love something that just happened, but missed it. Like a natural loving moment between siblings, and with a simple suggestion, I can recreate that love and capture it. I want to really see how you interact with each other normally, so I try to blend in and have you forget the camera on you. I know, easier said than done. Sometimes kids do better if I gently extract them away from parents. Individually or together this results in natural shots. Most kids know how to push their parents limits, but are super easy peasy for an exiting friendly new lady with a camera! I have two of my own kids and understand the challenges. Try and remember to not direct them. No forced smiles! I know I can get them to smile, and that way there is less pressure on them. Sometimes, the best thing is simply for me to follow the crazy unique rhythm of your family, and other times it’s for you to trust me, even if it challenges you! I want to capture the real you just as you are. If that’s wrinkled, tousled, and stained – all the better!
